Love the Bike, Love the Ride: The Next Event(s)
This has been the best September in New England I can remember. The weather has been nothing short of spectacular, and the cycling has been sheer joy. This Saturday, I’m hosting cycling two events simultarenously at the former train depot in Bedford, Mass, which is now the point of convergence for three bike trails. Two are rail-to-trails, and it is those we’ll be riding (see my prior post for full details).
It’s also a great opportunity to sell a few copies of my just-published bicycling novel, Bridge Across the Ocean. I hope you’ll take a moment and visit my new website – it’s really quite extraordinary, for which I profusely thank my long-time business partner Melanie Marston, who heads Marston Creative in neighboring New Hampshire. My thanks also to Isabel Peat for shooting the Great Bridge video in the faraway Penghu Islands of Taiwan for the landing page. I would be remiss if I did not thank Tori Merkle, my Associate Editor, for her innovative conceptual design for the Bridge website.
So I have a lot to be thankful for, working with talented, kind people who support my writing in so many ways. Sponsoring these two events on Saturday is my small way of giving back to those who appreciate my work and, of course, raising money from book sales to fund Mass Bike’s bicycling safety programs.
Thank you, one and all!
